Found this hidden gem by chance and will not look anywhere else in the future. Great welcome by the host, the room is spotless, beds are comfortable and the crown of it is the view!! The breakfast is second to none, we shall certainly be back.

"9 Princes Buildings" is simply our "home away from Home"! Not only do Simon and Joanna provide a great welcome, their Georgian house offers large rooms with stunning views over the Avon river, there's a gorgeous healthy low-fat breakfast made to order and served in beautiful homely surroundings, and there are the small touches like the glass of sherry and the slice of home-made cake (both cellophane-wrapped) in your room every night, the books and videos in the room, and all those small things all over the house which make it a home and that contribute to making this B&B so much nicer than any regular hotel ever can be.

What an absolutely spectacular place to put your head down at the end of the day. A beautiful Georgian terrace lovingly restored with enthusiasm and passion, by Simon and Jan. We had the basement twin bedroom with a huge newly renovated bathroom, the size of a ballroom. a beautifully appointed bathroom with quality shower products, my only suggestion would be additional towel rails and either an exhaust fan fitted to the to the huge frosted glass window or the abilty to open the window once some one has used the toiltet. Our bedroom overlooked a beautiful cottage garden that we were able to access and photograph the breathtaking view of the gorge and suspension bridge. Jan makes the most delicious pancakes for breakfast and her beautiful collection of treasured china is used at breakfast and in the rooms. No expense has been spared to make guests feel at home and very welcome. I loved the little touches of home made fruit cake in our room and cashew nuts and sherry provided to snack on. I would have no hesitation in recommending 9 Princes Buildings to fellow travellers, it is an experience in it's self. Thankyou both Simon and Jan for making mine and mums stay one I will always remember.
