“I love this place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

I've stayed in this little gem several times (different room each time so far) and will always go back when I'm in Bristol, for work or pleasure. The rooms in the Coach House itself are actually worth more than the excellent rating; big, warm, clean, homely, full of character. A very effective blend of some pretty special period features with modern efficiency where you want it (like the bathrooms). A really comfortable stay in a really beautiful building. Good location. Great value.

“Overpriced”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

On booking was asked not to check in until after 5pm as it was a Sunday, in retrospect I should not have agreed to this, as it was inconvenient for us. The room was OK but had an electric radiator as central heating in that room not working as well as it should, difficult to adjust temp as digital radiator had no instructions. Double bed a small double but another single bed in room which we did not need. Only one bedside light in a room with 3 beds. Bathroom cold in mornings, little space between sink and toilet.Shower electric and adequate but not fantastic. No toiletries apart from small bar of soap provided. Second night room above occupied and we could hear every footstep made. Breakfast room cold on both mornings. Breakfast again adequate but nothing to shout about, with possibly worst sausage we have ever tasted. More like a workers B&B than a luxury guest house, apart from price which in my opinion at 75 pounds was 25 Pounds overpriced. Out of interest no one asked if we enjoyed our stay.

“Excellent stay, loved it!!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 January 2012

Found this B&B on internet so other than pictures we had no idea what it would be like. Great service when booking on the phone. Lovely welcome on arrival. Great room, with large en-suite clean bathroom, beautiful views from a lovely round window. Great location two mins from motorway and 10 mins from Bristol city centre. Fantastic breakfast very fresh and hot. I highly recommend this B&B and we will return soon.

“Fantastic place, loved it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 December 2011

This B & B was fantastic, we had a warm welcome, a clean and big room were you could see the fields from the window. The building has plenty of character, the 18th century coach house and surroundings mixed with modern, clean facilities make for an enjoyable experience. I highly recommended!! This picturesque olde English village sits sandwiched between the bustling metropolis of Bristol and the Roman city of Bath.
