Stayed for 1 night at this hotel. Good sized rooms with basic amenities. Friendly staff, clean rooms but quiet far from town centre. Breakfast was quiet basic with not much options to choose from. Highlight of the stay was the pub right opposite to the hotel.
Would recomend the hotel for an overnight business trip :)

Stayed here as I couldn't get the HI filton. Stayed here last year for a night as well. Great location for where I wanted to be and very close to Bristol parkway station. Upset the taxi driver there as its very close but didn't want to walk given the time I arrived. Still cost me five pounds. Room was a standard express room and bathroom. Good condition compared to some I've stayed at. Don't know if they did evening meals on site as I walked to the pub on the same car park. Food was ok there but not much filling in my chicken pie! Would stay here again but the rate seems to be the same as the full HI which I would choose ahead of this just for the additional facilities.

Stayed here in October & it was ok. Rooms clean, staff helpful & friendly. There seemed to be a lot of young people staying who were in Bristol for partying & it was quite noisy, tho we slept alright. The breakfast is pretty basic but quite good value as it's included in the price. The hotel is very near to UWE but sits on a big, busy roundabout & the entrance is very
badly signposted. The pub in the car park is lovely & does really good food. I would stay here again if I had to, but prefer to pay a bit more to stay at the Filton Holiday Inn.

Hotels run by large corporate organisations can be impersonal, Having previously stayed in a much smaller hotel during by regular business trips to Bristol, I was not really looking forwrad toi staying at the Holiday Inn Express. I have found the staff at Holiday Inn Express to be very helpful and friendly, and plan to use it now as my regular place to stay in Bristol.
