I was pleasantly surprised at all the pluses this hotel had especially compared to London properties. The room was clean and an adequate size with a nice decor and comfortable bed. Lots of little thoughtful extras were in the room and bathroom design such as good lighting. The location is within walking distance to the train station and close to the Redcliffe cathedral but there are not very many restaurants close by. The Bristol tour bus stops in front of the hotel. There were a couple computers in the lobby for those who did not travel with their own. We ate a tasty evening meal in the restaurant. The staff was every helpful and attentive.

Down to business. We booked this hotel through Hotwire booking site and it was a *Secret* hotel meaning the name wasn't revealed until we had paid. For the weekend, Friday & Saturday night the grand total was £66.71, BARGAIN ! !

As other reviewers have stated, the hotel is errrrr VERY quiet. You'll hardly ever see any other guests but this isn't a bad thing. Check-in was swift and polite informing us of everything in the hotel. Breakfast was a buffet, they had a promotion on which reduced the cost from £13.95 down to £7.95. To avail of this rate you had to purchase your ticket from reception.

The room was large, clean and had a sizeable bathroom with a bath and a separate shower. The hotel does have onsite parking available and was charged at £10 per 24 hours.


Overall, good hotel, close to city centre, clean & quiet what more could you want ?

stayed 1 night on business, all staff friendly especially breakfast team. Good choice for breakfast. Room clean and good size, will return.
