Have just returned from our stay at Brockley Combe Manor. What a fab weekend. The hotel is in lovely grounds. We only saw one person all weekend and he made our weekend so special. We were given room 2 which was at the front of the house....the room was as big as the whole of our downstairs at home....and a HUGE bathroom with a gorgeous roll tap bath right in the window. You get to have a taste of how it would have been to live in a lovely home like this.
We had continental breakfast brought up to our room which we ate at the table in front of the window with stunning views. Only faults were no central heating, just electric heaters and no bin in the bedroom which are just small niggles,otherwise abs perfect. Would certainly recommend and look forward to going back again. Note: I think we were the only guests there so if you are looking for a lively atmosphere this might not be for you.

This a real find, just outside Bristol Airport. An exquisite multi purpose venue, full of character with extensive grounds to roam and extremely helpful and charming staff who couldn’t do enough for us. We stayed both on our way to Bristol Airport in September and again upon return and on both occasions the service & welcome was excellent. Resident manger & co owner Lorraine was so accommodating providing us with all our meals in our room and looking after our car for 3 weeks while we were away. The restored to original architecture really makes you feel you are back in the original manor house but the bed rooms & reception rooms are newly refurbished to an excellent standard. The premise is still being further renovated but this does not effect the quality of your stay. If you are travelling via Bristol air port it is well worth a visit and if you are planning a wedding, look no further, the hotel has a licence to carry out wedding services as do the other 3 hotels in the Aspire Venues group, and it provides a most unique and splendid setting for the service, the function and overnight accommodation. We will definitely return not just for Bristol Airport but for a weekend break from which to explore the surrounding area. Geoff & Teresa Teasdale Sept 2011
