We went here with 4 children on a Friday night and had a lovely time. Our waitress was excellent - very friendly, considerate of the children's differing needs and really efficient. The food is very simple for the most part but in this branch, we have always enjoyed it. Atmospheric, friendly, with children's colouring packs which also teach French words. I would definitely recommend it ot anyone with children who want something that is a cut above Bella Pasta or such places.

This Cafe Rouge is excellent. No matter how busy they are I've always had quick service. The food is lovely, really good quality and lots to choose from on the menu. I've been to another Cafe Rouge in Bristol, on Park St and was disappointed by that one but the one at Cabot Circus cannot be faulted. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful

There is a good range of french style favourites on the menu, which is good for lunch, dinner and just for coffee and cakes. I had bouillabaisse which is produced in individual dishes (rather than the large pot of the specialist restaurants in France), and my wife had boeuf bourgignon which was served with dauphinoise potatoes and green beans. Both were very good. Desserts were an individual tart tatin and a glace/sorbet with fruit coulis, followed by a very good coffee.
Never been disappointed here.
TOP TIP: Get on to the mailing list for some very good offers (2 for 1 etc).

For how busy it was on the lunch we visited the staff were efficient seated us quickly. We had a three course lunch in about an hour and half. Very nice menu to choose from! Food was very yummy. I liked i could choose a small item from the tapas menu as a starter. Was very nice and pretty cheap.
