My third stay at this very special hotel. Quality throughout staff, service, accommodation and the best food I've eaten anywhere!

This small hotel is a superb example of a lovingly restored Arts & Crafts house. We were given a choice of rooms and settled for a beautifully furnished room at the top of the house4 with a splendid mosaic tiled bathroom and shower. The bed was huge and very comfortable and the view across to the old docklands was wonderful.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant on our second night and were impressed by the quality of the cooking, which combined a complexity of flavours with a lightness of touch. In addition, to the well balanced menu, there was a cheese chariot of the highest quality.
Our one disappointment is that we don't live close enough to Berwick Lodge to be frequent gusts and diners.
Love love love Berwick lodge.... I've been coming here since it opened. Introduced my mother, sister, aunty and cousin(who ended up getting married here in the spring) who in turn then told their friends. Nothing is to big, no detail to small. Wether it's afternoon tea, lunch evening meal the food is exceptional. Great staff, lovely setting. Looking forward to my next visit.
We only wanted some where to stay over night to go shopping in Bristol. My husband booked this on line, not realising this is no basic, get your head down overnight stay. From the minute we got there the staff could not do enough for us, they apologised for our room because it was small.... The room was gorgeous! One of the best rooms we have ever stayed in, the bed & pillows were amazing! The shower a bit small, but it did what we needed! The hotel itself is just gorgeous, period features, just a really lovely place to be! The staff were so very professional, this is far the best place we have ever stayed & probably ever will, we hope to go back one day just for a treat! We found this place by pure accident! When we went to pay, we thought it can't be the £95 they quoted my husband, it must be £95 x 2! But it was only £95 for both of us including an amazing breakfast!! If we lived near here we would have got married here without a doubt.... Gorgeous absolutely gorgeous :)
Hired 8 out of the rooms in the hotel for our family & friends.... once everyone had got over the WOW factor of their room, the staff thoroughly spoilt us all day with their service through wonderful champagne afternoon tea, through to stunning dinner and then a great breakfast for everyone to round off the weekend... Lovely gardens to enjoy making a very special venue matched with fantastic service.
