I think this place is a little secret, tucked away down a country lane.
You won’t get any noise from the aircraft, as it’s not on the flight path.
Beautiful settings and scenery, the rooms are fine, lovely comfy beds.
We stayed October it must be lovely in the summer; you can sit out and use the facilities.
Breakfast is help yourself.
If you like dogs, the owner has two they will greet you and if you are feeling active will play in the gardens all afternoon.
A couple of miles down the road plenty of places to eat, only ten minutes to the airport, and you can leave your vehicle at cottages.
If you are planning to book a taxi, do it yourself, the owner was supposed to book two taxi’s as a number of us. On the morning of the flight only one turned up, he landed up going and coming back which landed us with two taxi’s bills, he did not have to do this as he had other appointments.
Good job airport just up the road as this could have been a disaster. I accept mistakes happen but I have had to mention this as the taxi driver moaned continually that the owner is always doing this to them, they keep telling her but it keeps happening.
Taxi to airport £8.00, airport taxi’s to cottages £12.00.
There are cheaper places around if you want to be stuck above a pub, will be using this place again when flying from Bristol.

I found the comment about taxis a little surprising, the taxi company would not know that I hadn't booked a taxi, so could never comment on it, I suspect the driver was simply having a 'moan'. In terms of costs two taxis were obviously needed in any event, so two charges would have been made by the firm, whether the taxis arrived together or separately.
