Arriving, met by the owner.
Some disagreement in quoted roomrate to include our daughter. Came to an agreement.
Room was nice. old features retained, but sufficiently modernised. Charming.
Breakfast is basic. "This is the kitchen, sort yourselves out is the way it's done. Help yourselves to whatever." But everything was there.
Quite bad is that you are expected to pay for parking. £4 per day. And then, it's not sufficiently available. the evening staff member moved hers to make some space available. (thanks)
Missing was the personal touch you'd hope to find in a country B&B. After the welcome, nobody from the B&B availabe, except the one evening when I was looking around about the parking.
But nobody around in the mornings or even when we left so we just headed out leaving the key in the lock.
