Stayed 1 night in the twin room. This room is very small and the beds are only 2'6" and rickety. The television was tiny and barely worked. Wiring everywhere to run kettle, tv etc. The room was damp and the bathroom was not clear (toothpaste on the mirror, hairs around the place). The bathroom is a wet-room with a central drain and when you run the water, the smell emerging from the drain was awful. I could go on but enough is enough. I also echo comments from other reviewers on the "odd" arrangements for breakfast.
Maybe some of the other rooms are OK but definitely don't stay in the twin.
How sad it is that hotels and guesthouses near Bristol Airport think that they can take advantage of their position and "captive audience" to not only charge high prices but offer terrible accomodation too......sigh!

Loved this place. Very friendly owner who accomodated specific room requests. Stunning location. Everything has been done with thought and care. would definitely stay here again and have recommended it to friends visiting the area.

Picked at random for it's location on our annual migration to Cornwall from the north east coast. What a lovely surprise! Although we were far later than anticipated, due to crazy sat-nav, there was someone there to welcome us and advise on nearby local pub for an evening meal (which was great). The setting in beautiful landscaped gardens would make this a great base to explore the area. I will keep this in mind for recommending to friends & of course future holiday plans in the south west.

A warm and helpful welcome, with excellent rooms, spotlessly clean. Help with booking our first night meal at a local pub and good reccomendations where to go.

very good value overall

Reservations; only light self serve breakfast offered ( but you know before arrival) and the Hostess sent us to Walled Garden for organic cooked breakfast ... simply devine.
