Location is great and hotel is nice and modern. Car parking is limited and expensive. NCP up the road is £19 a night!

A colleague found on street parking at £2.50 a night so might be worth a look on Google maps if you're planning to stay here.

My husband and I stayed at The Radisson Blu in Bristol for 1 night. I requested a room on a high floor and we were happy to find we were on the 15th floor! We had pre booked a car park space which was excellent. The car was secure and adjacent to the hotel.
Our room was large, clean and modern with a big comfy bed and a flat screen tv. Huge floor to ceiling windows looked out over the city. The bathroom was spotless with both a bath and shower, again it was nice and modern. Nice fluffy bath robes and slippers were a lovely touch!
Our room also had a fantastic coffee machine!!
We didn't have dinner at the hotel as we went to Jamie Oliver's but we had breakfast which was very good. Plenty of choice including vegetarian sausages which was good to find!!
A fantastic stay and we will be returning very soon!

I regularly stay in the hotel for business and have converted my colleagues to switch to the rad blu from the marriott. The location is fantastic, service great and, like all rad blus the decor is modern. I am also a huge fan of the club carlson rewards scheme. Its also great to receive complimentary 2 x cans of coke and water on arrival plus nice biscuits with the teas.

The one thing that let's this hotel down is it's ongoing issues with the lifts. This has been an issue for months and months. I have have waited ten minutes for the lift- a real pain in the morning (with luggage). Apart from this, my fav hotel in southwest and plan to visit at the weekend soon... when waiting for the lift won't be an issue!

Nice big rooms, great location, friendly staff, good bathrooms and very clean....what more do you want (and good rate too). beds were comfortable too. This was our second year staying here and will be back next year
