My wife and I got married in june, we've rented a superior room with spa bathroom for ourselves and a Two Bedroom Harbourside Penthouse Apartment for a few friends coming from abroad.

The room and the apartment were amazing! Fully equipped, in immaculate condition and with in my opinion the best view in bristol. The properties are situated in the stunning and peaceful Harbourside area which is not even 10min walk from the city centre.

If you're looking for privacy and a "home feel" while away, do not hesitate! Rebecca and Adrian are most helpful, really going the "extra mile" for their costumers.

Check in smooth and both Adrian and Rebecca both more than helpful. Plenty of room and excellent views, will try a summer break next time to make the most of the huge balcony.

Stayed at Luxury rooms for 3 nights mid-October (1 stay of 1 night, and then a second stay of 2 nights a few days later. I chose Luxury Rooms based on the reviews on Trip Advisor and also because I liked the idea of having a bit of extra privacy compared to a normal hotel, I wasn't interested in having Breakfast in the morning or having a bar and the price compared to the two much more basic hotels that were in the immediate vicinity was very good value.

The bedroom and ensuite bathroom I had was the same for both stays which was furnished to a great standard. Dealing with Adrian and Rebecca was easy and straight forward over everything from the initial enquiry, to meeting Adrian upon arrival, sorting out the car parking tickets, and he was very accommodating in arranging for me to get into the room late at night when I arrived in Bristol the second time. Even when my phone gave up, Adrian was contactable by email and although I didn’t require anything extra, I felt like I was well looked after during my stay and could contact them if I needed to.

I have seen some comments about the parking situation with the car park next door and only being able to take your car out once a day. For me personally, it was not a problem as I was out and about during the day, and arranged to have the parking tickets validated once I got back each night for when I went out the next day.

I did find the room a little stuffy at night but as I was on the top floor and the area was quiet at night time I left the bathroom window open the whole time although there was a desk top fan provided which I could have plugged in if I wanted.

Although visiting friends, I was travelling on my own, and I'm not really used to being in a city so location-wise it was perfect for me – 60 second walk from friend’s flat and had a small supermarket and pizza restaurant right night door, so for someone not so adventurous at night, I didn’t have to wander far at all when on my own. I’m planning on visiting Bristol at some point next year so will no doubt stay here again, I think its great value and a brilliant find, so thanks Adrian and Rebecca for a great stay!

I stayed at Luxury Rooms the summer of 2010. Yes over a year ago -- I should have written a review sooner. On the plus side, it is in a good location and the rooms are smartly furnished (even it is with Ikea like furniture, it is clean). But it is not a place to stay for more than one or two nights. It lacks the amenities of hotels and also lacks the conveniences of a serviced flat. The deception came in that the reservation was booked for one building that was supposed to be off a main road, near the river. The room that was provided was one in a building on a very busy road. Promised was a common/shared living space and a balcony -- delivered was simply a room. When I raised an issue with the difference in what was expected, etc. vague promises were made and it turned out the owners were not in Bristol.

All in all -- the price very well be too good to be true.
