We have basic rooms for low budgets, and better rooms for high budgets. Not all shops sell wine, but our short and sweet Guest Information sheet in the rooms tells you where the supermarkets and local shops etc are. I suspect you tried the shop directly across the road for wine, but I hope you managed to walk the extra 20 yards to the mini-supermarket who are licensed. Perhaps you should have asked one of the "streetdrinkers" where to buy wine as it appears they were a few steps ahead of you.

Next time, think about how little you have paid for your 'basic' room, then open your mouth and talk to us. We are on the phone 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We would have more than likely upgraded you free of charge as this is the sort of thing we do for people who give us the chance to do something about it by talking to us. You are free to check out the area on Google's Streetview, but this is not something we can do much about although we do try by looking after our own little bit of it.

If you are going to go bleeting on Tripadvisor then at least have the decency to be a bit more specific (i.e. which room you were in) so that your rant can be a little more constructive for OTHER PEOPLE to benefit from.
