I stayed in the single room which can be expanded to a famiy room. When it is reduced to a single there is a poorly sound proofed door between the rooms - I could hear a sweet being unwrapped next door so the wall gave only an illusion of privacy. Otherwise a lovely old building and the food was good, the staff were friendly and accomodating. The only bug bear for me was that breakfast was charged on top of the room price. In reality we are paying for breakfast whether its included in the room price or not, but in this case there was no fruit juice, yoghurt or cereals out for me 'to help myself to' and breakfst felt a much more frugal affair when it could have felt more generous and giving which is what its like in the best B & Bs where I have stayed.
