we have just spent a very pleasant weekend at this b& b on the outskirts of bath in a small village called wick. we had a warm welcome from carole and her dog daisy and were shown to a spacious room with on suite facilities overlooking the orchard . the organic breakfast was excellent and we were advised to eat at 8am then drive a couple of miles up the road to the park and ride .
the park and ride was almost full so we were glad we made an early start. in the evening we walked down to the village to eat at the rose and crown . the pub was extremely busy and one would be advised to book in advance. the food and atmosphere was first class .so if you want a rural atmosphere when you visit bath with no hassle in parking give southwood house a try you wont regret it.
