“2-minutes from Bristol Airport, luxury accommodation for a competitive price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 February 2012

I booked Yew Tree Cottage because it was 2-minutes from Bristol Airport by car and I wanted something really close but with secure parking. IAt the time, I wasn't particularly interested in high quality accommodation but in a fast turn-around. I got both. I chose to stay in the outside chalet as I could leave early without disturbing anyone. The price was competitive with every other place around but the quality of the accommodation was much higher. I got a huge double bed with a memory foam mattress, a built-in wardrobe with a hair dryer and fridge, a large flat-screen TV and a lovely en-suite shower with endless hot water. Having arrived exhausted and tired of travelling, it perked me up just walking into the room and experiencing the sheer luxury. I left Bristol the next morning feeling relaxed and thoroughly spoiled. I wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else. Well, why would I.

Room Tip: All rooms have wi-fi and are all equally as good. My children like the interconnecting bedrooms wit...

“Was Fantastic and very welcoming!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012

The owner was a lovely and great guy who made me and my girlfriend feel very comfortable.
Breakfast was very nice and the room facilities (great tv's and shower) were amazing.
Was a great trip and would very much recommend it.

“Fantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 September 2011

I thought this was a very cheap B&B. I was getting up really early so said i didnt need a breakfast but the owner did us a breakfast package and put loads in. He is really friendly and very prompt when picking you up to come home.

We have a family room which was 2 interconnecting rooms that both had flat screen tvs on the wall. The bathroom was huge. I thought is was lovely decour...

I would stay here again.

“Compact”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 June 2011

We stayed here because neighbouring Newditch Farm was fully booked. Unfortunately it is not in the same league as the aforementioned. The room was very small and the shower room tiny with a sliding door; not great for privacy. It was simply decorated in a modern, masculine style and clean. It was quite near a busy road which was a bit noisy. The breakfast was nice and generous and the owner very friendly. Considering the modest price it was ok, except the neighbouring B&B, Newditch Farm is similarly priced but a lot better, if they are not booked.

“Better than a Premier Travel Inn”

Have been staying at the B&B for the past 8weeks while doing a course at Bristol Airport.

rooms are clean modern and have wifi, tv and tea coffee making facilities including mini fridge and en suite bathroom.

having never stayed in a b&b before i was not sure what to expect! i have not been displeased what so ever!

Wayne the owner has made sure my stay has been comfortable and happy.

only negatives i would say about the place is busy road outside and location is a bit of a distance from city centre. (not really a problem for people wanting to stay for use of airport as its less than 1mile from Bristol international Airport)

few bars in the area for food and drinks.

Over all excellent excellent stay!

Thanks Wayne!
