Chose to stay 2 nights at NLCR after 4 enjoyable days with my 2 children in Canberra and wished we had stayed for longer. NLCR was chosen randomly after initially looking at Jindabyne and so glad we did! Would need to look hard to fault this place.
We booked 2 nights in a 2 bedroom lakefront apartment (#46) and found apartment well appointed with everything you could need. Also large and spacious with comfy beds.
All interactions with staff were 1st class at both reception and restaurant although the cheaper "cafe" option was closed at 4pm the 2 nights we were there meaning we needed to eat in the "dearer" restaurant or had to have. covered dinner with self-contained option (NB - the rack of lamb is one of the best I have ever had!).
Majority of activities were included (archery, canoeing, par3 golf, etc etc)
Location was great to National Park with 10 mins to Thredbo and we walked to the top of Kosiusko and could imagine is well located for Winter sports activities with only 1klm to the Skitube.
Would love to go back and would highly recommend!
