We stayed one night at this B&B while visiting a relative in Powell River. Although right on a 'main' road, it was very quiet, as Powell River is a small community. The water views (and they are very expansive) are right across the street and you can use the telescope in the host's livingroom to take a look at what's happening. The queen bed was comfortable and the room was a pretty average size for a bedroom, but outfitted with all the basics for travellers including robes, slippers, extra pillows, small table and chairs, ceiling fan, as well as a flat screen TV mounted on the wall. We stayed in the "Sunrise Room", and the bathroom was right next door. A sliding door can be pulled closed between the host's livingroom/kitchen and the guest's area here. Bathroom is large and clean with a well-stocked amenities cupboard and nice in-floor heating infront of the toilet. There is a vertical blind that can be closed off between the Sunrise Rm. & it's bathroom and the other room (Serenity Suite) available (this one has it's own ensuite). Please note the bedrooms are at the back of the house, but the view of the water can be enjoyed from the front room, or walk across the street and stroll the beach.

Breakfast was beautiful, delicious and amazing with many added little touches. The host, Roger, was a real card and quite attentive. Shirley, his wife is equally wonderful and baked heart-shaped, healthy banana muffins for us 'to go' the morning we left. I would definitely recommend this nice little place.
