Stayed for one night following our return from a dive trip, the room was spacious, warm and the bed was comfy. Nice view over the marina too.

I suspect most people staying at the Quaterdeck are in transit and only stop for a night or two, like us. We did so on our way North and on our return and were pleasantly surprised by the bedrooms, which have a delightful view over the harbour. The location is attractive and pretty and convenient for the sea plane jetty. It is a little walk into 'downtown' Port Hardy, which is friendly, if a little lacking in facilities. The Pub which is the hotel's restaurant, is also fairly basic, but the evening meal and breakfast we had was good and not lacking in quantity! Service was a bit slow due to being full. The Reception service was friendly and helpful.

Just stayed overnight after arriving from the ferry. Everything you needed for a quck stop over. Breakfast in the pub next door was disappointing - small portions unattractively served with a strange combination of fresh fruit with the cooked part. Note: if you have hired a car you will need a 15 minute taxi ride to the airport to collect it. (but you are then on your way south).

Stayed here one night prior to taking the inside passage ferry to Prince Rupert. Rooms were clean, views of the bay were good. Decent food in the pub. You can walk along the harbor from the hotel - a short distance.
