The southern area of Burgundy is an amazing part of France. Unfortuantely, we stayed here only 1 night, in the Saint Amour room, and it was nicely decorated and clean. The hostess, Veronique, is very friendly, helpful, and speaks English very well. She helped us find a great restaurant to have dinner (ask about the Auberge in Ste-Cecile), where we had great escargot, an amazing Charolais beef steak, and a wonderful poached pear for dessert. The countryside there is beautiful, and the B&B is maybe 20 minutes from Cluny, where the old church and monastery of the Benedictine order was located. Highly recommended if you're looking for a quiet, calm and peaceful place to stay in this area!

“Gorgeous B&B in the heart of France, north of Lyon near Macon”

I took a chance on this B&B that had no reviews on trip advisor and it was fantastic. We stayed for 2 nights in July in the very large Saint Amour room. We chose this room because the weather was very hot and this room stayed completely cool. In cooler weather I would choose one of the smaller front rooms which have a lovely outlook.
Our host, Veronique, speaks excellent English and offers a warm and friendly welcome. She provides a sensational breakfast and daily room service and is totally focussed on her guests enjoying their holiday. We had several special requests and Veronique was particularly co-operative and helpful. The communal kitchen is great and we ate in both nights as we were very tired from touring. This is a very comfortable, clean and friendly B&B in a breathtakingly beautiful area. We loved the nearby villages. We regretted not staying longer and would wholeheartedly recommend (-).
