“Enjoyed my stay”

Stayed three nights at Country Pines just outside of Summerside in late August. The property is huge, and has lots of parking. The lobby was very clean and check-in was a breeze. We reserved the honeymoon suite, and that came with a bottle of wine for each night.

The room upon arrival was ready, clean, and cozy. The king-sized bed was very comfortable, the hot tub, in good working order, is a bit loud. It seats two easily.

There is also a heated pool with a large deck in the back of the hotel. I used it twice and it was very relaxing both times.

I don't have much bad to say about the hotel really. It was a good stay and I'd suggest it to anyone that doesn't need to stay right in downtown Summerside.

“HIDDEN GEM--STAY IN THE COTTAGE IF YOU CAN”

We stayed for 1 week in the 'cozy cottage' at this hotel and for the same price as a hotel room we got a 2 bedroom cottage. We could walk to the hotel if we wanted the Continental breakfast or to go for a swim but we had all the privacy we wanted AND each day when we were out they came in and cleaned and brought fresh towels etc. It was a 2 minute drive to Summerside and we used it as our base camp for the week. Staff was great. Only issue was we could have used a better barbecue and the patio table was broken so the umbella would not stand up in it. This is a completely different experience from our stay at the Canada's Best Value in Charlottetown which I also reviewed. This is a definate yes.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write your review. We are particularly proud of our two cottage rentals and are pleased that you enjoyed your stay. We have replaced the bbqs and patio furniture at both cottages since your stay, and regret that this was not done sooner. It is important for us to know where improvements are needed, but also very encouraging to hear where we are doing well. Thank you again for the kind review and we hope to see you in the future.

price was ioo per night,Room needed a good paint job to freshen the placeup.,both lamps in the room were filthy and needed new bulbs.Wicker seating out back was rotten and unsafe,no bathroom fan to let shower steam out,

I am very dissapointed that your stay was not a pleasant one, and apologize that we seem to have not met your needs this time around. The maintenance involved in keeping up a tourism property is constant and it seems like a few things failed at the same time in your room. There is no excuse for this of course, but I can assure you that as soon as we are made aware of issues in rooms we set them on the do not rent list and have maintenance go in immediately. Also, if a complaint is made to the desk, we can look at options like moving you to another room. The only point which I remember specifically is the furniture outback, which we have since completely replaced. We hope that all guests would bring issues like this to our attention, as it is the only way that we can improve the quality of our service. We cannot do anything for you if we do not know what the problem is. Thank you for taking the time to point out areas where we may be able to improve.

“Great Start to our relocation to PEI.”

We relocated to PEI and needed somewhere to stay last minute. We were suppose to stay at the Mulberry, but upon arrival the room was absolutely disgusting and there's no way we were going to be able to stay there for the month. We were lucky enough to find this Inn at the last minute and Claire and the owner Kathy were nice enough to set us up with a cozy kitchenette room for the month. Room was very clean, cozy and quiet. Made it very comfortable to go to work from here and gave us time to find a permanent place. We mostly dealt with Claire when we needed anything and she was very nice and accommodating. Thank you Country Pines for making our first month in PEI a welcoming one :)

Fantastic! We are so pleased that we were able to make your relocation a pleasant one. It's great to be on the front lines to this wonderful and welcoming province. We have to thank you too as renting to people monthly helps us to get through our slower winter season, and we are always pleased when we get to know guests like yourselves who stay a little longer than our summer guests. Mostly, thank you for mentioning Claire's service as we are very fortunate to have her and appreciate the recognition.

“Such an upgrade from the Quality Inn Summerside”

Please relate this to my Quality Inn review. I found this hidden gem and boy was I impressed. For only $69, i got a 2 bedroom (one king, one queen) suite with fridge microwave and stove. TV with more selection of channels than offered down the street at Quality Inn. If you have any business in Summerside, i most certainly recommend this spot.. It is an easy 5 minute drive away. The staff at the front desk are extremely friendly.
