Stayed there over Labor Day weekend. We had unit 4. There are about 12 units in the place. The reviews about parties and noise were not what we experienced. It is located on a major street, but just the regular traffic you would normally experience in a small town. There was a limited selection of rooms when we got there, we didn't reserve in advance, but we got the kitchenette and two twin beds for about $60 CDN a night which was at least 20 to 30 cheaper than the larger chains. The quality was Super 8 or maybe a good Motel 6. They do have a website www.oldcountrymotel.com. They also had on site laundry. No breakfast in the morning, but several good selections down the road. Also important to note is that their non-smoking rooms were really non-smoking. My friend is very sensitive to that. She checked out the room before we handed over our credit card and gave it the ok. If there was a down point it was the piece of duct tape on the joint of the carpet. The room probably should just have the carpet replaced. Also I didn't see an ice machine, but I never did ask. They did have a fridge and freezer in our room though. Also came with dishes and pots and pans to use.
