My friend and I stayed here this past week for a 4-days/3-nights in order to go to a play at the Shakespeare festival in Stratford. Absolutely loved it. The house is beautiful, and beautifully maintained. The gardens surrounding the house a lovely. My favorite place in the whole house probably was the screened in porch though. We bought some wine and cheese (check out The Milky Whey cheese shop in Stratford!) and had dinner sitting out there one night. So quiet, so peaceful. A wonderful place to recharge. Since there are only four rooms, nothing is ever very crowded. We had the Jenny Lind room and it was great. The Hunters are very accommodating and have great recommendations for restaurants, events. etc.
This is a working farm and Mr. Hunter gave us a tour, which we really enjoyed. I was able to go running in the morning on their dirt road and didn't see a single car - just the cows.
The breakfast is excellent, with many of the products from their own farm.
If you are looking for a tucked away B&B away from the city (Stratford is only 10 minutes away) and willing to experience some country peace, do not hesitate to stay here. We will definitely be going back again.
Also, Google Maps gave us wrong directions so use the directions from their website! It's really quite easy to find.
