If you are looking for a farm bed and breakfast experience that is still close to the city of Stratford, this is the place for you. The restored farm has 4 bedrooms available (2 with ensuites), each are comfortably appointed with antique furniture There is a common area on the main floor with television and a computer available for use. The enclosed porch makes mornings/afternoons or evenings a delight as you can enjoy the fresh country air without the bees buzzing around your head. If you decide to wander the property, you can go on walking trails and see some of their farm animals or abundant field of sunflowers. The gourmet breakfast which includes all homemade items is amazing! The owners are very accommodating and open to having young children on the premises and allowing them to see the animals (with the farmer). The drive to Stratford was about 10 minutes into the downtown core. This is an ideal spot if you don't need to return to your hotel throughout the day but enjoy the mornings and evenings on the premises. Highly recommended!

Fieldstone Farm is a lovely farm about 10 minutes outside of Stratford, Ontario. We've stayed in B&Bs before, and Fieldstone Farm is one of the best. Stratford is a lovely town with many B&Bs, but we decided to try a different experience, and Fieldstone Farm surpassed our expectations. Our ensuite room was located on the first floor and consisted of a large bedroom with a table and chairs, a pass-through room to the bath with a large pedestal sink, and a private full bath with a tub/shower. The location of the farm, with its gazebo and rural beauty provided a peaceful stay. The screened front porch is the usual setting for the full and hearty breakfast. It was cool during our stay, so we were served in the cozy dining room off the kitchen. This renovated farm house is comfortable and charming, and the hosts are lovely people. For an out-of-the-city Stratford experience, I highly recommend Fieldstone Farm.
