I go to Fallsview Casino to gamble often and many times dined at Golden Lotus Chinese Restaurant. Unfortunately, I have witnessed the deterioration of this restaurant from mildly acceptable to today's terrible and disgusting state. The wait staff is rude and talked loudly among themselves. The food was poorly prepared all taste the same. The vegetables taste like that they did not even wash them. For a very pricey buffet, they delivered something worse than a Chinese carryout. I ended up with a stomach upset after eating there in November 2011. I will never go back to this dump even if I am starved for days.

Stay away from this one...better to go to the Grand Buffet at Fallsview Casino than waste your time and money at this place. Bad food and very bad service. The waiters were just ignoring us and everybody else...

We went there in last Sunday, in a chill and raining night, hoping for a delicious meal. But it turned out very very disappointed. First ,they stopped to server buffet that night and instead you need to order individual dishes. After the dinner I figured out they want to make more money in this way. Second, the food are really over pricing. They do have manuals displayed outside. You see most of the dishes ranging from $15-$20. But when you sit inside, the manual is different. Most the dishes are $20-$60. They charge $58 for a roast duck and $68 for a dish of boiling chilli fish which is the most expensive priced I ever seen. Third, they just brought you the food for buffet to make you order. The food tasted so so. Finally, the service is bad. When you are leaving, to be prepared because they will ask you did you pay already again and again! Overall, this is a place with over-priced, so-so food and bad service. Not recommended!

We made a reservation based upon a recommendation from a travel guide book. The restaurant is in a fine location and certainly looked like a fine place. This was a major disappointment. The service was just OK and they messed up our original dinner order. We observed the bus staff clearing tables and actually scraping the food off of the plates into buckets! WE SHOULD HAVE LEFT AT THIS POINT. It is a tourist trap with no respect for its customers. The chicken tasted like rubber and the other food was bland. It was terrible. Please do not waste your time or money on this restaurant.
