My mother and I stayed here for one night in the Pearl room. Quiet and relaxing, personable service, clean room with the touch of history, free private parking (lots of space), amazing breakfast, 3-5min to Niagara Falls...what more can I say? Even my picky and sensitive mother who has a hard time sleeping away from home slept like a baby. She was so comfortable she said it felt like she was visiting her grandmothers home.
There are whole bunch of winter package deals for hotels because it's the low season..but nothing can beat the quality we received for only $80/night. With all the great reviews, I had high expectations, especially the breakfast. Rob certainly did not let me down...fresh cut up fruits, yogurt, scones, eggs benedict with hash browns...yummmmm! We were so full and there were lots left over. Rob even packed up the rest of the scones in a ziplock bag for us and remembered to email me the scone recipe. (Thank you!!)
This is the only place we would stay in the future.
