Stayed at baymont.. I would say Excellent- for their service, customer approach and helping customer attitude

This is the second time going to the Baymont Hotel in Niagara falls and would do it again. The location is great and price is good. I chose this hotel because my family and I had a good experience the first time we went there. Our travel agency in Toronto, Polo Travel recommended this hotel the first time and we now stay at this hotel whenever we go to Niagara falls.

Great hotel if you're looking for something which is priced fairly.

My boyfriend and I spent a pleasant 3 nights in this hotel. Reading all the reviews of late, I was surprised to hear all the negative comments. We had a NO issues, what so ever. We got an amazing deal through Baymont Inn's "suite sale" and were upgraded to a king suite with a huge whirpool tub + fireplace. The shower stall was indeed a little cramped, but the large tub made up for it. My boyfriend is over 6ft tall and he managed to take a shower in it. The hotel hallways were hot &muggy BUT the room was perfectly tempertature controlled. We didn't have time to use the pool, but we enjoyed the complimentary continental breakfast - simple and fresh! The waffle maker was a big hit, as usual. Yes, it was busy but we never had to wait more than 2 minutes to get a table. Besides, we were more than willing to take the food back to the room to eat there. The location was ideal. Right close to Clifton Hill. A short walk to the Falls. And about 5 minutes drive to Lundy's Lane.

All in all, this hotel lived up to and exceeded my expectations. I'm not one who likes to pay alot of money, and I like a quality hotel. The Baymont Inn was perfect...it made our trip that much better. Judge for yourself. And spend the extra money for the whirlpool tub...it's amazing to soak in after a long day walking at the falls! To be fair, I do have one complaint. We were situated on the fourth floor, at the far right of the hotel (same side as the pool)....and there is only one elevator located at the opposite side of the hotel at the entrance. It made for a healthy walk each time we left our room. But if that's my largest complaint...makes you wonder why all the other reviews are so negative.

Room: Clean, very comfortable beds, clean sheets, clean bathrooms...the only thing I would suggest is the toiletries is really not enough for a family of 4. I always bring my own but if someone didn't, it may not be enough. (There is a note in the bathroom saying if you need toiletries, they will bring them to you, just call the front desk :) ) We did find that the first floor was musty, humid and "cloriney" probably due to the fact that the pool is there. It didn't affect the inside of our room, but the hallways were uncomfortable and smelly. I would probably take a higher floor.
Breakfast included! A little kitchenette with make-you-own-waffles, pancakes, fruit, yogurt, toast, cereal, and juices. It was great. There is a restaurant on the premises if you'd rather pay for a breakfast...this suited us just fine.
Parking-$8 bucks, not too bad
Proximity to Clifton Hills-about a 6 minute walk...very convenient!
One little problem that they were made aware about and hopefully try to fix...they advertise free wireless internet...we could not pick up anywhere in the hotel. Neither could our cousins. We told the front desk and the girl said she would tell management. No big deal, but it would have been nice to check business emails. :)
Checkout-Quick, uneventful.
Overall, nice, clean quaint hotel..no major issues, maybe just hiccups. We will book here again!
