“The Best Family Place Ever!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

We've been going to this property for 30 years!! No kidding!. It has been updated and remodelled. It is lovely and clean. The staff pay attention to us and our children. Our kids (36, 30, 13, 12) and now our grandkids are coming with us. They love it here! It is safe and the kids get to have a little freedom since the activity area is easily viewed from almost anywhere. There are 2 pools, 2 waterslides, a hot tub, badminton, pool table, and table tennis - all included. There are also arcade games available. The place is spotless. You can purchase a "hot" breakfast for only $8 but the Continental offerings are fresh and plentiful with lots of options.

Room Tip: If you don't have kids and want a quiet room - say so when you book. There are rooms that do no...

“Expensive and not worth the price”

Rooms were older and need updating. Older furniture and mattress was bad. Service mediocre. Location is okay and close to the National Park. Pool was too hot and not refreshing. Love to visit area but never staying here again

Room Tip: Pool side rooms are noisy.

“useful place with kids”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 December 2011

Yes, as the other reviews go, this is dated and needs a facelift, but we were visiting for five days and the game room and pool was a life saver. The kids don't notice decor, just the fact that there's loads to do on a cold day that's indoors.
The staff were friendly and helpful, but other things would have made our stay nicer: There's no food served in the day on Sunday(!), no bar, no alcohol on room service.

Worth a visit if you're likely to need entertainment for the children, probably not in other cases.

Room Tip: with kids have one next to the games room, but these are a bit damp and musty smelling. Better rooms...

“Old, Nasty and Dangerous”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 November 2011

Our stay at Pelee days inn was awful! I'll start with the mean lady at the front desk named Jocelyn who you could tell did not like her job, she was short with people in line and actually rolled her eyes at some children who wanted to play badminton. On to the games area...bad, dim florescent lighting with three floors of grey brick. Very dark and kinda spooky. There are people in their bare feet ,dripping wet and walking around on dirty carpet that honestly looks about 30 years old. Can anyone say foot disease? All of the lounge chairs are very dirty so you need about 4 towels on them to lay down. Hot tub doesn't work. The bottom of both pools are stained and unappealing. Now getting to the dangerous part, the water park is supervised but the one in games room is not. Surrounding this pool and non-working hot tub is a 2 foot fence...however,the gates are not shut. With small children running around everywhere I am very surprised no child has drowned!
Inside the games room are flower beds full of dirt with no flowers in them and chairs from a 1970's diner at each patio door. The rooms are just as bad with no natural light because there are no windows.Same 70's decor, not to mention damp and smelly! The restaurant closes at 9 even during the weekend, same yucky atmosphere and a waitress who is miserable. We ended up ordering pizza. In the morning you can have some cereal or apples for breakfast for free or pay EIGHT DOLLARS for a plate of hot food that they dish for you. So we ate in town and paid three dollars per plate. At $150/ night you think they would give you breakfast!
Save your money and go to Ohio or Michigan same price but you get so much more.
This place should be gutted and turned into something great or demolished!

“It was fantastic! This will be a yearly event.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 September 2011

Leamington is the most sourthern point of Canada. It is also the Tomato capital of the world. The scenery unbelieveable .
However, the Days Inn made all the difference. For the kids the water park was just great. Even us adults enjoyed it.
The hotel staff were very welcoming and we felt at home.
Remember, if you like Mexican food there are 15000 Mexican farm worker that eat at Taco Tony's in town. What a treat! ...and the food is fresh and cheap....and made by real Mexicans.
