I was so impressed with the staff they were just the best they could not do enough for you. A smile each time you walk in the door, the rooms were very nice except for the location of the TV it was not placed to be watched in bed. I ordered out and the food was very good at a good price too. Since i was there because my husband was rushed to hospital here and was worried the staff made my stay as comfortable as they could with a sympatitic ear when ever i needed one the shuttle would bring me to hospital when ever i had to go at no charge yes i would stay there again as my stay was very nice

We visit Hamilton quite a bit since our daughter lives there, and now that she lives on Mountain, we like to stay close to her apartment. Well there is only the Marriott and then the sketchy HoJo's/Hooters on Mountain. And yes the Marriott is about double or triple the cost of the HoJo's! But whatcha gonna do.....

Anyways, the Marriott is quite likely the nicest hotel in Hamilton...trust me I've stayed in most of them! The only hotel that comes close is the Visitors Inn but it's not on Mountain, so if location is important then the Marriott is it I'm afraid.

The only drawback to the Marriott as far as I am concerned is price. While the Days Inn or Visitors Inn can be had for a hundred bucks or less a night..not so with the Marriott. The regular rooms usually go between 130 and 150 bucks.

We had no issues with this hotel at all. We found it very clean, and easy to get too. The beds are super comfy and they provide additonal pillows should you want them. A big plus for me is that the window opened! Not much..but enough so you can get fresh air and not have to put up with stale recycled air. The hotel is also non-smoking...another big plus for me.

The staff are friendly and helpful.

The only other item worth mentioning is that this hotel, like many others in Hamilton does cater to large groups such as kids sports teams so you may find it a tad noisy at times, especially if you are looking for a quiet swim or soak in the pool or hottub.

I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

I've stayed her before and will be back again. This hotel is the only decent one on the mountain. I think it is very over priced if you do not have any type of discount. It is a clean hotel and the housekeeping staff are very nice. The front desk staff were nice, but not always there when needed. My husband and daughter enjoyed the pool, but it was toocold for my toddler. The fitness room is 24hours, which is great. I would recommend bringing your own pillow. The mattress was good, but they cheaped out on the pillows.

We have now stayed at this property a few times with our children and have had great experiences both times. We appreciate the extra lengths that the staff go to in accommodating family and young children. The children loved the pool and had a great time playing. We heard nothing at night, it was peaceful and the children slept well. I was shocked to read the complaint of mice in January of 2011 considering we also stayed at this property during that time. I was naturally curious and looked on "youtube" for the video as promised, and yet there is nothing. I have to say we have stayed in many hotels over the years and this hotel is impeccably kept and the housekeeping staff take pride in their work. I would highly recommend the property to anyone. The buffet breakfast is a little pricey, but it is worth it, or book it with your room for $5.00.
