Clean modern rooms. Excellent staff. Good location, close to downtown Victoria. Had dinner at the Tapas bar downstairs. There is a half price deal on some menu items between 4 and 6 PM. The sliders were amazing! Also free coffee and breakfast roll/muffin in the morning or you could use your breakfast coupon for a discount off full breakfast. The Eggs Benedict and Braised Beef hash were outstanding. Would definitely stay again.

We had an absolutely INCREDIBLE weekend at the Rialto. What a beautifully restored hotel in an ideal location downtown. We were celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary and the hotel went above and beyond to make our weekend incredible and romantic. The welcome cheese plate was to die for! Michael the concierge was so amazing, he gave us the best suggestions for food, entertainment and things to see. He even booked us on an amazing whale watching and gardens tour! Honestly without his expert recommendations and local knowledge we would have missed out on exquisite meals and little known gems. The room was delightful, very well appointed and just the right size. We really enjoyed the heated bathroom floor. We will definitely be planning a return trip to Victoria and of course the Rialto. We cannot recommend this hotel enough, seriously go there, now!

We booked this hotel through BC Ferries. Maybe that's why our room was so small! Beautiful hotel newly refurbished and spotlessly clean everywhere. Bed was comfortable and HVAC was effective. Bathroom was great. Other than the size of our room which did not have space for much of anything except the bed, a very nice hotel.

Room tip: Make sure you do not get an oversize closet for a room.

The staff were all very friendly, especially those working on reception. The rooms are all very modern, clean and extremely comfortable. The location is good and you can easily walk to all the main sites. The breakfasts in the cafe are fabulous! And the free drink and discount you get are great. The bar is very modern and chic. We only went there once for our free cheese plate and a cocktail but the menu looked good so if we were there for longer we probably would have revisited.

Just left this lovely hotel after two nights. The hotel is located in the heart of downtown, across from the city hall, and close to all attractions and restaurants. The lobby is small but the guess room is of decent size. It was apparent the the room was recently remodeled as it looked sparkling clean and new. Comfortable bed. Very quiet at night as our room was on the inside part, not sire about the street side rooms. The front desk staff were all nice and helpful. They offered a welcome cheese platter at the lounge bar and vouchers for a coffee and pastry for breakfast. I definitely would stay there again if I visit the city next time.
