This is an older but well kept up family Motel. We have been coming back to this Motel for several years. The staff are very helpful and and make sure we have what we need to make our stay comfortable. This motel may be older but CLEAN. Many renovations have been completed. We find the courtyard perfect for teams and as well to mix and mingle with other families. Again Location, cleanliness, staff and price are all great. No complaints at all.

We made reservation 2 weeks ago. We called within 24 hours to canx reservation due to a MRI apointment that came through from the hospital. The manager told us we had to give canx notice 30 days in advance to canx and he was going to go ahead and CHARGE our credit card 1 full day, $129.00 PLUS taxes. We called the Pentiction tourist office and explained what had happened. At the time of booking, the manager did not even tell us that he has put in a '30 DAY CANCELLATION POLICY'. The Pentiction tourist office called the manger at the Stardust Motor Inn. The manger said he wants a letter from our doctor. Getting a letter from a doctor will cost us additional money and then for us to send it up to him so he can review the letter, while he has already charged us the full days amount on the room.
This manger does not care about families enjoying their stay in Pentiction. They only want your money and od not care how they get it. This is not how you treat customers.
We called to find out the canx time at other hotels in the area and they are only 24-48 hours. The Pentiction tourist office said that under the circumstances, he should have not charged us. We would have re-booked our vacation to this establishment because this holiday was for our son, who is special needs and the vacation was for him to enjoy. Be aware of this hotel and it's so called 30 DAY POLICY. They are also not accredited with the BBB (Better Business Bureau).
