We arrived at Brin de Soleil and were amazed by the view, and we were continually pleased through out our stay.

The view was stunning, the breakfasts were so delicious, the beds were very comfortable and it was more space then we could have hoped for.

The suite was impeccably clean, and Janine & Pat are great people, very knowledgable, helpful and hospitable.

Our one and only complaint, as noted in the other posts, would be that you can hear your neighbors in the next suite, but it's a small consolation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights there, we wished it could have been longer. We will never forget sitting and enjoying the view for hours. We absolutely recommend staying here.

My partner is NOT a bed-and-breakfast person. His idea of hell is to have breakfast and make chit-chat with strangers first thing in the morning. Brin de Soleil is NOT your typical B&B; they provide private suites, with a private patio and private breakfast service.

Topping our list of what makes the Brin de Soliel great is the VIEW...it's absolutely beautiful! We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the patio watching the bees in the lavender that surround the patio, as well as the expansive lake and mountain views.

Some of the other reasons this was such a great getaway: the hosts Janine and Pat, the tasty breakfasts, Deisel the dog (harbinger of breakfast), the firm mattress, the coffee with cream, the great selection of DVDs, the garden, the location (near our favourite winery La Frenz) and the many birds we saw. We'll definitely be back!

The property has a stunning view overlooking Penticton and Okanagan Lake. The house sits up on a hill overlooking the Naramata Bench and we saw a deer one morning.

The two guest suites are on the lower level of the main house, with separate entrances, and have their own terraces overlooking the lake with patio furniture to sit and read or even enjoy breakfast.

Inside, the suites are spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite that had 1 bathroom and a small kitchenette area with fridge and sink and dishware/cutlery for preparing small snacks, as well as coffee facilities. There is no stove.

Breakfast is brought down daily by the hosts and is eaten in the suite or outside on the terrace.

There is a dog on the property who lives upstairs, but the hosts do not allow the dog into the guest suites.

We stayed at this b&b for 3 nights in July 2011. It is set up in the hills of Penticton - a beautiful location! The apartment was two bedrooms and located on the main floor of the house; the owners live on the second floor above the apartments. The apartment was a good size and nicely furnished with a large batroom. There was also a nice patio that was well lanscaped and that overlooked the hills and vineyards and was great to sit at in the evening to watch the sunset. Regarding the noise issues: Our bedroom was below the kitchen of the main part of the house where the owners live and it was very loud in the evenings and mornings. The other guest apartment beside us had very thin walls as well and we could hear everything through the walls, even regular conversations. Overall a nice place to stay, but be aware of
