The property has a stunning view overlooking Penticton and Okanagan Lake. The house sits up on a hill overlooking the Naramata Bench and we saw a deer one morning.

The two guest suites are on the lower level of the main house, with separate entrances, and have their own terraces overlooking the lake with patio furniture to sit and read or even enjoy breakfast.

Inside, the suites are spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite that had 1 bathroom and a small kitchenette area with fridge and sink and dishware/cutlery for preparing small snacks, as well as coffee facilities. There is no stove.

Breakfast is brought down daily by the hosts and is eaten in the suite or outside on the terrace.

There is a dog on the property who lives upstairs, but the hosts do not allow the dog into the guest suites.

We stayed at this b&b for 3 nights in July 2011. It is set up in the hills of Penticton - a beautiful location! The apartment was two bedrooms and located on the main floor of the house; the owners live on the second floor above the apartments. The apartment was a good size and nicely furnished with a large batroom. There was also a nice patio that was well lanscaped and that overlooked the hills and vineyards and was great to sit at in the evening to watch the sunset. Regarding the noise issues: Our bedroom was below the kitchen of the main part of the house where the owners live and it was very loud in the evenings and mornings. The other guest apartment beside us had very thin walls as well and we could hear everything through the walls, even regular conversations. Overall a nice place to stay, but be aware of

My husband and I wanted to experience the Okanagan wine country and needed a place to stay. Our friends recommended Brin de Soleil as they had just stayed there in May. They raved about it - and now we will too! The guest suites are lovely: clean, bright, beautifully decorated. Pat and Janine are fantastic hosts and definitely cover every detail. We loved sitting out on the patio drinking our wine and taking in the amazing views. We will be telling all our friends and family about Brin de Soleil - and are already planning our next trip!

My husband and I chose Brin de Soleil because of its location on the Naramata Bench, which we had visited before. We returned to do further wine touring and enjoy the Penticton weather. When we arrived, I was not expecting the breath-taking views from this property. WOW! The views are out of this world and I knew we were in for a treat for our 3 night stay.

Janine and Pat greeted us so warmly, they instantly made us feel like we were special guests. Our one bedroom suite was gorgeous, every amenity was available. The bed was huge with luxury crisp linens, lovely bathrobes and slippers provided, the bathroom was full of wonderful smelling goodies, the kitchen well stocked with a variety of coffees and tea, milk and soft drinks were in the fridge, even a huge collection of DVDs were available to cosy down and watch in the evening. We felt truly spoiled. There is also free wifi. The private entrance and patio table were wonderful. We could sit out and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening with spectacular views, surrounded by beautiful landscaping, lavender and lots of other varieties of plants. I fell in love with this place.

Breakfast was fit for a king. We chose to eat at a small bistro table that Janine and Pat had thoughtfully placed in a sunny part of their garden, and this was no problem for our hosts. And that is what makes this place extra special. Both Janine and Pat are so incredibly warm and accommodating. I must have inundated them with so many questions about places to go and things to do, but they were more than happy to pull out maps and explain everything, and make great dinner recommendations. In fact if not for them we would have missed out on two fabulous wineries that were not on our itinerary, Tinhorn Creek and Lake Breeze.

The whole experience was luxurious to the end. Brin de Soleil is refined sophistication with wonderful hosts. I would have no hesitation in returning and in fact can't wait to do so!
