We booked at this hotel because we are Best Western members and also because of the reasonable reviews on trip advisor. Our experience was not so good! It was one of the noisiest hotels we have stayed at. Because we were doing an extensive drive, I had specifically asked for a quiet room. We were given an ‘atrium view’ room on the second floor. We had to lug our luggage up some stairs because there was no elevator (NB this hotel is not suitable for those with disabilities). In the evening, the ‘atrium’ was full of people and families, with their children in the pool. The noise travelled up into our room and continued until after 10 pm when the children then decided to use our corridor as a racetrack. As an aside, we have had many different ‘check-in’ experiences and would describe this one as being somewhat lukewarm. A little hint for reception staff – trying smiling at your customers; ask how they are; maybe how their day has been. It takes no extra effort! Also try explaining the basics like where to park the car, how to access the internet, what time breakfast is, etc, without customers having to ask. I do not recommend this hotel and will not be staying again if in the area.

Thank you for responding to us and sharing your opinions from your recent stay at our property. We are currently looking to an elevator that will alleviate problems going to the 2nd floor, Currently all our staff are available to help our guests who do require assistance. I do also apologize that your room was not quiet during your stay, our rooms that do face the Atrium with the pool and hot tub do tend to hear more noise. I am sorry that due to our occupancy level, we were not able to get you a quieter room facing away from the Atrium.
