The location is beautiful and the views are incredible but no restaurant or pool beverage service as we were told there was. Condo we stayed in was marginal at best. Not very clean.

Really not a whole lot of negatives that you can give here. Beautiful rooms. We had a 4br on the 11th. By far the most luxurous condo I have ever stayed in. Balcony wrapped around whole condo, and had a hot tub. Economy has effected Puerto Penasco. The dinning facility in our resort was closed. Either because of the season (we were there in December) or lack of funds. Great places to eat nearby and in town though.
Overall, great place to stay for a quick getaway.

Just got back from the Sononan Sky was the best time we have had there. We went with a group of 11 family and friends. We stayed in 2 condos. I would highly recommend sonoran sky. It is a 5 star resort. The condos are basically all the same. Granite counter tops, high end appliances. Leather furniture and nice comfy beds. We drove back thru the new border el golfo. Would not recommend going out that way. We waited an hour at the border. Would recommend going into mexico that way because there is no wait that way. They are still not done with that road. We had to go off road a couple times I think it was thru santa clara. Other than that was nice. Very hot weather but that is what Rocky Point is all about HOT.....

We have stayed at several resorts and wanted to try the "new one". Beautiful view and condo. Had trouble with 2 appliances, sewer smell, no outdoor movie theater (as advertised). Can't charge bar drinks and food to your condo... several things. Not sure if I would stay here again.
