I needed a room for the night in Hermosillo,I read the reviews here,hoped for the best and booked...really not sure what to expect...

I had a VERY nice stay here at this property. The hotel is not too far from the Airport, about 15-20min. Taxi fare is on a fixed rate by zones, so from the Airport this hotel was about US$15. Upon arriving, i noticed that the staff at this property were very friendly, and accomodating. checkin was fast and smooth, My room was very clean and bright and fresh with everything in very good condition. My room was looking out the back of the hotel away from the main street, The nice view included a skyline view with very nice sunset that evening.The Bed is in great condition, as are all the furnature. I had a very nice restful sleep. Aircon/Heat is controlled by Thermostat and works great. My room was very quiet as was the hotel. I think the hotel was 1/2 full, but i did not see anyone. I ate in my room that night, and Room service that night was truly an excellent meal, moderately priced. (i thought so). Should you want to eat downstairs, there are two restaurants with different menus. Both rest had many items to choose from. There was a bar downstairs as well. There is a hotel gym that is small but did the job nicely. Internet access was for a fee, was very fast and reliable for my stay. There is a pool, but i did not use.

In the morning i had an outside appointment, & there were plenty of taxis downstairs and checkout was very fast. the ride to the airport again, was quick and easy

Overall my one day stay was just excellent and i would not hesitate for a moment to stay here again.

I'm midway through a fairly long business trip. Knowing nothing of Hermosillo, I read all the tripadvisor reviews and, with a fair amount of trepidation, made my reservation here.

Whew - what a relief! Now, in November 2006, this is a very good hotel. No worries at all about booking here.

I have a standard room with a king bed. It's really exceptionally large for a standard room. It has a really comfy Laz-E-Boy style recliner and a decent 26 inch TV. There are several non-smoking floors - the smell of smoke in the room is, so far, pretty minimal.

The bar is nice with a good selection of spirits (okay...long week). I just checked out the fitness center - looks very nice...will use it in the morning. The pool is small but also attractive...clean and well-maintained.

So, please, feel comfortable (much more than I did) making your reservation here.

Given the location, size, etc of Hermosillo, I really couldn't expect there to be a finer hotel. Sure, this isn't the Peninsula
Hong Kong but it's also not the Radisson Gran Ancira Monterrey either (read my review of THAT hotel for a horror story).

Stayed four nights. Simply a great stay. Food was very good at both restaurants. Room Service was very quick and accurate. Everyone on staff was friendly and very courteous. Health club and pool were very nice. Room had everything I needed including iron, ironing board, shampoo, lotion. Bed and pillows were great.
I just cannot complain about this Hotel and will most definately stay again.

Thumbs Down, all the way. A place to avoid. The hotel looks great and superior upon your arrival in the lobby but this impression didn't last for us. We did a trip all through Mexico and this was the highest priced hotel and least satisfactory of all our trip stays in over 8 states. The next worst was also a Fiesta Inn - so lessons learned here. We paid for wireless internet service and got no signal in the room and were told only even numbered rooms get a signal. There is a club in the hotel and they're more concerned with that than the guests since even three floors above it we were woken up with the loud music and noise from the line that formed outside the hotel. We called and complained and were moved only to find a huge cockroach on the hallway outside our room. We still didn't get an internet signal on that side of the hotel either !! The staff were unfriendly and rude and had no sense of what service should be for guests paying over $200 US a night. I was first at the checkout desk yet a man who arrived after me was taken care of first. The attendant apologised after he finished with him that he left me there first. ?? Upon checkout the next day I complained and was given a small discount but would have much preferred a good night's sleep instead.



Not worth the pain and agony.
