Visited Durango in June '06 & we should have stayed at Posada San Augustin. Great location right next door to the Theatre & only 2 blocks from The Cathedral & Main Plaza. Rooms have AC with ceiling fans. Wonderfully restored old Mexican home with rooms opening onto the central courtyard. For $40-45 there is not a better place in Durango, including the hotel we stayed in & we visited 7 places. Look forward to returning to Durango specifically to stay in this lovely hotel.
