The country inn and suites is near downtown. The beds are a little hard, which is fairly typically in Mexican hotels. They do offer a great breakfast in the morning. It was either cheap or free. They have a nice business center with printers. The front desk staff is nice. Overall, a nice clean hotel, within 3 miles of downtown. There is a very busy freeway in front of the hotel. Small fitness center and couple of the machines didn't work.

This is not your typical Country Inn & Suites. It's a step down. The room is very bare. There is a bed, a nightstand, a dresser and a desk. Unlike the U.S., there is no refrigerator, microwave, or chair (except for desk chair,) things I appreciate having in a hotel room. The bed is very uncomfortable, but I've read that a lot about beds in Mexico. The Internet was also a problem. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. Since I needed the Internet for business, it was very frustrating. Overall, I was very disappointed, and if I need to return to San Luis Potosi, I will stay elsewhere.

Just like the Country Inns in USA, except this one is almost full service without having to pay for it. Restaurant, cool little bar and a nice swimming pool and outside courtyard. The rooms are nicly decorate and the hotel has good TV channels. The best was the staff, however. They were so friendly and helpful. I will be staying here again! Very warm, very safe and very Mexico!
