My 5 sisters and I stayed for a week at the Hacienda Encantada in Cabo and had a very amazing experience. The resort is absolutely top rate with service, food and accommodations. The staff are very attentive and friendly-genuinely want to meet your every need. We did all-inclusive for 3 of the days and that was great. Such a nice option to be able to choose which days we had all inclusive. We were able to eat in all 4 dining areas-very delicious. They have different themes each night-asian/italian/bohemian/mexican etc. There was entertainment-dancing, singing with most of them. There was an activities director with many fun things to do such as cooking, cocktail and Spanish classes, daily meditation, water aerobics and volleyball as well as arts n crafts such as pottery. There are multiple pools and a sandy area to sun by. Breathtaking ocean view and view of Land's End. There is no ocean swimming access because of rocks but for a $10 round trip shuttle ride they will take you to their sister resort in Cabo where beach access is only a couple blocks away. We did that one day and it was plenty. From there we did other activities such as parasailing, whale watching, shopping and a sunset dinner cruise. One word of warning- check your bill carefully. I suggest doing it daily or every other day because we found lots of errors. We were there on one of my sister's time share getaways and they tried to charge their time share fees as well as other things they had promised us for free such as horse back riding. They were very good about taking them off- just watch it closely. Some of us went on the time share "talk" and they really gave us a good deal that two of us bought into it! Really cannot wait to go back!! You would not be sorry

I understand enough Spanish to know that Jose, the Captain of the Bell Boys made a deal with our taxi driver for a kickback of the amount we paid. How does the Hacienda Encantada justify having this kind of employee? I will make my own arrangements in the future. Jose is a crook. I heard the driver say $50 and we paid $70 and the driver said he would give Jose the extra money.

The only thing that would make this place better is if I could take my dogs!
Great service, views, comfort, pools.......the most romantic restaurant in the world....ask for the private table on the cliff. You will not believe it!
Having your own kitchen is fabulous and as the resort grows, so will the inventory in the grocery store.
The staff is so friendly....superb.
We found it by trading our Maui time share and ended up selling it and buying at Hacienda. It is so much easier to get to and the rooms and vistas are a million times better than our place in Hawaii.

This was our first experience vacationing in Cabo and Hacienda Encantada turned out to be a fantastic place to call our home base. We should start by stating that we were strickly here on vacaton with no intentions on considering a time share purchase. We found an incredible deal on Groupon, which is the reason why we selected Hacienda Encantada. Besides one very minor attempt at discussing time share options with us, the staff never again brought it up. And we should also state that the staff at Hacienda Entycantada was exceptional. The concierges, Ismael and Oscar were super courteous, super helpful and genuinely willing to help make our stay and experience at the resort and in Cabo as best as could be. We had a minor issue with our tub, and the resort staff, and management, went out of there way to assist us in resolving the problem and to give us a very generous offer to compensate us for our inconvenience. The remainder of the staff, including everyone in and around the grounds, the bell-boys and the service staff in the restaurants, were equally awesome.

The facility itself is located in a perfect location with easy and quick access to downtown Cabo San Lucas and to the beautiful beaches within short distance from the resort. What is really great is that Hacienda Encantada has a sister resort in the heart of Cabo's tourist area and guests are able to use the sister resort's parking lot (at no charge) ... this turned out being a huge bonus because trying to find parking in downtown Cabo was always challenging, plus, our car was parked in a safe, secure garage within the sister resort (no worries). The grounds at Hacienda Encantada are beautiful, the pools are maintained daily ... the place just screams tidy and well kept. Our room was gorgeous, with all the amenities we expected, including a kitchenette. If we didn't have all of Cabo to explore, the comforts of our room and the facilities around the resort would have been enough to keep us at Hacienda Encantada, every day, all day long. Our room was in the lower building on the property, and on the 4th floor, which meant our views of the Sea of Cortez, Land's End and the sunsets ... were undisturbed. And the views were spectacular!!!!

Our deal with Groupon included breakfast every day at one of the resort's restaurants (Las Marias). We had a fantastic selection from the breakfast buffet, with delicious fresh fruit, numerous hot selections, and freshly made omelets, upon request. Our deal also included a "romantic dinner for two", which we used on our last evening at the resort. The views from the mostly outdoor-seating Las Marias was as spectacular as those from our room. The selections from the dinner munu were numerous, and our meal, which included 3 courses, was delicious.

Overall, Hacienda Encantada is a super resort, with great amenities, fantastic location and most of all, a staff that is first rate. We will definitely return, and highly recommend it to anyone!
