Fabulous hotel! My husband and I got married in the on-site Capilla at this hotel and had 70 guests for our wedding there. The staff was extremely helpful and we couldn't have asked for a more authentic looking Spanish-style hotel as a backdrop for our pictures. The rooms were wonderful especially the ones on the first floor beach front. You walk right out of the double glass doors to the pool and beach. Just wonderful! We had our reception at the restaurant down on the beach and the sunset just made it all complete. The staff passed out island drinks to our guests before the ceremony and the bridal luncheon was set up outside on a big terrace. It was perfect and the on-site wedding planner knew exactly what she was doing. The pools are gorgeous and there are several to choose from. I highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to go back for our anniversary.

This was our first trip to Cabo and it was amazing. We've traveled all over the carribien, mexico and europe and i must say this was one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed in. Originally we were going to stay at esparanza but it was all booked, well the Sheraton did not dissapoint! The service was perfect, our room was huge and the view off the terrace amazing. The bathroom was also huge and very modern, with a large stand up shower and a jacuzzi tub that looked directly toward the ocean. The food was incredible, some of the best restaurants in cabo are located in the Sheraton. The pool was amazing with great poolside service. Again I can not say enough just how beautiful this hotel really was. It is also worth taking a 15 min cab ride to have dinner at Esparanza which has the most beautiful views. Very romantic. When we go back to Cabo we will only stay at the Sheraton. It's truly a luxurious vacation spot.

Just returned from a week (11/21-26) in Cabo at the Sheraton. It's a very nice property and we really enjoyed ourselves. It was our 1st time in Cabo. That was the good, now for the not so good. I guess they were full, so they wouldn't check anyone in until 3pm, which was ok, but we got what had to be the smelliest hotel room I've ever been in. Room 1904 in the main building. It smelled like a sewer had backed up into the room. Once you were in the room you got used to the smell, but if you left and came back OMG!!! Everytime we complained the front desk would kinda chuckle, as if they knew about the problem. The 1st time they sent the maid up with spray, my husband and I couldn't take it anymore by Tuesday a.m. so he went down and demanded to see the mgr, which they were reluctanct to do, but the person on duty at the front desk at that time did finally offer us a new room, which was absolutely fabulous. My husband was so p.o.'d he made them give us a credit on our bill.

Our family (including two teens of 16 and 19) spent five days at the Sheraton for Thanksgiving, and the hotel is indeed lovely...grounds are well kept and the staff is helpful...we usually stay at Westins and were surprised that there was no 'cigar bar' open in the evening; in fact, we had to go to Tomates restaurant to get a cigar cutter....the concierge recommended the Picante fleet for marlin fishing, and I concur...two of us had a 35' boat for the day for $1260, including beer, lunch and everything else you might want, and had a tremendous time...the chef at De Cortez cooked our catch of dorado over a mesquite fire and it was the best meal we had our entire trip...the restaurants at the hotel are actually very good...we'd also recommend Margaritavilla down at the marina...travelers with teens might consider that Cabo is nice but my family decided it prefers Puerto Vallarta...I think Cabo is a better destination if you're thirty-plus...the clubs have an absolute fetish for 80's music, and aren't as youth friendly as PV or Cancun...all in all, a nice, quiet, relaxing vacation at a beautiful hotel but we're going back to the Westin in PV in March...
