Brisas del mar is the best place to stay on the tampico beach area. The staff is excellent paying attention to all your needs, from the towel in your room to taking you drinks in the sand by the ocean, the seafood is the best I've ever tasted, out of this world with a different way of preperation. the pool is great and the atmosphere is very relaxing, I highly recomend it, two thumbs up!!!

Stayed at the Brisas del Mar for a wedding weekend. The hotel is new and the location on Miramar Beach is perfect. Better guests have access to the Beach club which has it's own pool and sun deck leading onto the sandy beach. Staff bring drinks to the beach or poolside and provide towels.
The restaurant is one of the best on the beach and the staff were five star accomodating evey need quickly and professionally.
The hotel even has a courtesy car to and from the airport and for the price $75 per night is well worth every penny.
Highly recommended and a refreshing change from the impersonal chain hotels of Cancun etc.
