Bonnie & Jim welcomed us in their home and we shared a glass of wine while we visited on their deck which has an unbelievable view of Quatrino Sound. We got ideal advice on a good restaurant in town (and the food was excellent), great suggestions on the outdoors since we were kayaking. You're on the first floor of their split level so they're upstairs and you have complete privacy. There are two rooms but the other was empty so we didn't have to share the bathroom. There's a den on the first floor with tv, refrigerator and a very comfortable couch for relaxing after dinner. When we go back to paddle the sound, we're definitely staying again. Wonderfully warm and open hosts.

I had a wonderful experience at Inlet Haven. Bonnie and Jim were absolutely delightful as were the 2 pups and quiet cat. I wish I could have the delicious breakfasts provided to me everyday. The rooms/bathroom/common room were very clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the entire suite to myself for several nights. Jim and Bonnie were also kind enough to take me on a brief tour of the backcountry and logging roads. We visited a beautiful waterfall, Eternal Fountain, and a small lake, I want to say Devil's Bath, but that could be wrong. The countryside is beautiful and the views breathtaking. I plan on staying here again the next time I visit Port Alice.

We hadn't realised how far Port Alice was from everything else, but this B & B was worth the extra effort. It was superb in every aspect. The hosts are really friendly and helpful, and the accommodation beautifully eqipped and finished. We were disappointed that we had only booked in for one night! If you want to see the North of Vancouver Island, this is the place to go.
