If you're looking for a cheap, clean hotel in the center of Cozumel, this is just the place. The rooms are fairly big, shower pressure is excellent and the breakfast buffet is great (something new every day) The location is perfect - right next to the pier, shops and restaurants, and you can lie on the rooftop terrace where they have a pool, or rent a motorbike to explore the beaches around the island. Free wifi in every corner of the hotel, and it was reliable and fast too. Ask for a discount if you are staying for a few days, the hotel has plenty of rooms and they normally give you a good price.

We found this hotel to be a little run down and very very noisy due to ongoing building works taking place which nobody warned us about. It lasted until around 6pm and started before 8am making sleep a bit impossible around such times! Breakfast was a little disappointing and the hotel overall felt a little empty. Overall if you are not fussy and can get this hotel for a cheap rate it you will probably not be disappointed.

CAUTION: IF YOU WANT TO GO TO A SANDY BEACH FROM THIS HOTEL EXPECT TO PAY 15 USD + FOR A ONE WAY TAXI JOURNEY..........

If you want luxury, this isn't the place. However, if you want a clean place to stay, right off the square for a great price (around $50 a night) with an AWSOME breakfast, then this is the place!!
We've stayed here a couple of times and there is always someone cleaning. The rooms are basic, shower, no tub. Great hot water. Pool on the roof. Almost always the first dropped off from the airport. The best part is the free breakfast. On weekends they usually have some kind of eggs and chicken and black beans, along with bread, yogurt, coffee, juice. On Monday morning, the guy come out and asked us what we wanted. We had an awesome omlett cooked to order!!!

Got a great deal at Hotel Plaza Cozumel through Orbitz for a dive vacation. Room was adequate, missed a balcony, but the pool area on the roof is great. Looked like the room had been repainted and the bathroom redone recently. Hot water in the shower was instant and water pressure was great. Air Conditioner worked very well, and helped to dry dive gear. When I got there there wasn't a refrigerator, I asked at the desk, and had one delivered in 10 minutes, no extra charge. It was great for apres dive cervecas, leftovers from the wonderful restaurants nearby, and drinking water. As with everyplace I have stayed on La Isla, the Maids keep things immaculately clean. Location is very convenient to many of my favorite restaurants and the downtown square. Breakfasts were great, had made to order one day and buffet the rest of the week, some days on the main floor and some days on the roof pool area. Only a few blocks from the Aldora pier for pickup from several dive operators, just a nice stretch of the legs after breakfast. Would definitely recommend this Hotel for a pleasant, if no frills, stay on Cozumel. If you like to be in town, this is a good and reasonably priced place.
