“the best place for making new friends from abroad”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 January 2011

person found this review helpful

Marco, the owner, was so nice person and friendly to local backpackers like me; Lina, a lady from Lithuania and member of his staff team, was nice and quiet; Geörg, a staff member from Germany, was serious but nice after knowing the guests for at least one day after. The roommates that I met were so friendly, like Jennifer from France or Fernando from Brazil; except for the annoying woman from Argentina, everything else was great!

“Friendly, Fun, Great Service, quiet sleep, near bus station, safe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 May 2010

Location - a short walk from the bus station and close to restaurants. Staff - friendly, helpful, wonderful. Sleeping - A/C at night made sleep comfortable and lockable space is provided. House rules are enforced which makes the visit enjoyable, and quiet after hours for sleeping. Bathrooms and kitchen are clean. My husband & I traveled with our grandson who turned 7 on the day we arrived. The guest and staff made him a cake with candles and had an impromtude birthday party he will always remember. We will stay there the next time we are in Cancun.

“like staying at a friends house”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 April 2010

This place was great! I have stayed a a few places around the world and Ka'beh is right up there. I liked it because the people were very friendly, workers and guests. I was accomodated with anything I wanted. There is food very close and I felt safe there. Even though the rooms were group rooms, I left my backpack there. That should mean something. Food is provided, wifi is included, give ka'beh a shot

“Great Service, Beautiful building, Felt very Safe!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 September 2009

Hostel Ka'beh is located just blocks from the Main Bus terminal in downtown Cancun. Just blocks from restaurants, bars and fun places. They have a 24 hour attendant. Offer great breakfast included in the nightly rate. WiFi. I stayed in the private room, but they also have a dorm with 5 bunks, two full bathrooms, nice kitchen and a beautiful patio. Very clean and very nice hosts. When I was there, there were travelers from the US, Germany, Spain, Prague etc Very interesting environment. Hostel Ka'beh has just opened its doors and therefore they are still upgrading some services. I have booked to stay there again in November.
