“Looked nicer in the Internet, but dissapointed me a little”

We stayed here for one night because Poza Rica is the greatest city near the prehispanic ruins of El Tajin, in the Mexican state of Veracruz. Rooms are clean and have air conditioned, cable TV and iron. The hotel has a small parking in its basement, that closes in the night.

PROs: The hotel has a nice pool and it is conveniently located near nice restaurants over 20 de Noviembre Avenue. The air conditioned was a bless in a hot Summer day (and night).
CONs: The pool was dirty with papers, pieces of plastic, insects and tree leaves, probably because there was a big party the night before and the hotel employees were busy folding tables and chairs. We went to the pool nevertheless, because it was a hot day.

In the end, it is not a costly hotel, but I was somehow disappointed for the service received. I must say, nevertheless, that maybe the Victoria was understaffed because it was Sunday.
I would recommend the hotel but just because I could not find something better in the zone, including the nearby city of Papantla.
