The best thing I can say about this place is how helpful the landlady is. She helped us find a doctor twice and always said yes to our requests for things to be done for us. I made the mistake of taking the wife to a Hyatt hotel on the previous place where we stayed in Mexico so she whinged like hell about this not being a 5 star place. However, at the Hyatt they said "don't know" to every request we made for information about the place were we were staying and they put a price tag on everything in the room and the hotel facilities. That is the difference between staying in a friendly B&B and a glass tower hotel.
If you are European, and you stay here with small children, you need to take care of your kids with things that would not comply with safety standards in Europe such as on the stairs and other things. You just need to watch your children.

In just a few words, Villa Sueño Azul is a great place to stay in Guanajuato. Rooms are cheap, the place is clean, comfortable and the manager was very helpful and accommodating.

If I ever need a place to stay in Guanajuato, this would be my first pick.

What a lovely place we found here! The service was great prior and during our stay, our rooms were ready upon arrival. Mali was flexible and accommodating, our driver David was fun and totally professional. We were very happy to find an adorable yet practical B & B..we will tell our friends about it ; )

My daughter and I had a marvelous time in magical Guanajuanto and our stay at Villa Sueno Azul. Mali, was a fantastic hostess and catered to all our needs. Our room was lovely and included a balcony overlooking the courtyard. This room was the best and the lightest. Being near everything was important to us but the quiet location, in this charming town, was also a highlight.
