Just got back from a series of sales and marketing visits in the local area. This was my third hotel staying and I was expecting a simple room to check in... well; I was impressed by the hotel!. New and modern. Convenience was my priority as the Expo Guadalajara was the venue for this trip last Feb 17; I stayed for 3 nights and will be definately be be back. The staff was great and so attentive.
The rooms were so clean and spacious, at the end of each day my only gratification was to sleep in such comfortable bed.
There's no room service but who needs it when you're in a budget and on a business trip, my rate included the breakfast and WIFI access, so that made me happy. My wake up call never failed and all my questions always answered. My personal choice is the Hilton but on my last stay there were so many things going wrong that trying a new hotel was my goal and now after this experience I consider this new hotel a gem. It was just perfect.
Normally I wouldn't post a review, but this hotel does such a wonderful job that I thougth of sharing my experience with my fellow travelers; you will love it!

I've been working in managment on the hotel industry for many years, stayed in many prestigious hotel chains, such as starwood, fairfield, marriot, etc.. my husband and i stayed at this holiday inn express on a business trip due its close location to the convention center, even though is a Holiday inn express and does not provide with room service and other amenities as a 5 star hotel, i must congratulate quality, customer service, specially NADIA of front desk, (she should be promoted anytime soon) she is absolutely amazing!!!! she was so helpful! thank you nadia for all your help sending me home the blouse that i forgot!! i would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone, and i must say its my favorite hotel to stay at in Guadalajara!!

Brand new hotel = new and working everything. Staff is helpful but still working on speed at front desk. Location is perfect; across the shopping mall and about 15 minutes from Expo GDL. Nice open area on each floor to sit /meet on couches and tables. Atrium style so the lobby is in view from all floors; this means the noise is strong from the glass walls and concrete floors but the rooms are down hallways that will totally subdue the lobby noise (halls a bit narrow). The breakfast is good but not superb, but is included so quite acceptable. For what this property offers and its goal in life, it works perfectly. This is good value and new. WIFI is free.
