“Great spa and very polite people.”

People were very very kind, even though the reservation was processed wrong (I asked for a jr. suite and instead the travel agency booked a normal room), they managed to make a deal with another hotel and got us a very nice room and breakfast included (since they had no more rooms available there for the next 2 days). We finally managed to get the room we had asked for and all the crew was very polite and friendly with us =)
The bedding is great!!! I had never slept on such a nice bed (it's like sleeping in a cloud ^_^).
I would definitely go there again (but this time, I shall make the reservation directly with them).

Room Tip: Book in advance during high season.

“Be careful! I got robed here!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 February 2010

The place is nice, a lot smaller than in the pictures, nothing amazing.

The huge problem is that the security is 0. I got robed and lost several belongings, besides the awful feeling of being vulnerable.

Someone broke into our room (conveniently at our Tai Chi class which was booked since two days before which make me think about the staff trustworthiness), stole everything they could and left all the room messy. After the Tai Chi class, we found out and asked for assistance to the staff, they did not help a lot. They DONT have vigilance! We reported it to the local authorities, they made an investigation and the staff, instead of being helping, was annoyed because of this. We lost a whole day, did not recover anything and the hotel made us pay the whole bill, which some other friend had to got there and helped us to pay because we did not have any credit card left. Not even an apology! They said it was our fault for not using their tiny security box in the front desk! (should I leave my whole baggage there? Not a place for relaxing as I see)

We had to leave because the hotel staff kicked us out to avoid that our complaints affect the rest of the clients. I am committed to not allow this to happen to more people spreading the word. They heart my dignity and this should not hapen again affecting Mexico’s name.

One of my worst nightmares… Please don’t stay here and tell your friends to avoid this place.

PS To contact me, write to conns_s@yahoo.com. I would be happy to confirm my experience.

“Dont waste your money”

i have stayed at this hotel on a few occasions but no by choice, my company booked it every time... this hotel is marketed as a spa retreat with a no kids allowed policy ( in the spa area) but it isnt the case. The rooms are noisy due to the nearby party house and road, its very far from downtown cuernavaca and if you have the pleasure to stay there on a weekend you are likely to find the hotel owner and family at the hotel with there very young children using the place like a childrens playground.

“Overpriced and far from downtown”

This is a two star hotel at a four star price. The rooms are basic, the service lacking and you have to take a taxi to get anywhere. I had a massage and facial at the spa, they were ok but pricey. The restaurant is fine, but nothing special. Don't get a room at the front of the hotel, the hotel is divided by a street and these rooms are noisy. Spend your money somewhere else, this one isn't worth it.

  • Liked — The grounds were pretty
  • Disliked — The price and the quality of the rooms.

“Very nice!”

This hotel is really pretty and has a very nice colonial style. The rooms have good size. It not fancy at all, as I mentioned is more colonial. Our wedding was in cuernavaca and all our friends and family stayed there. Everybody was happy with the service, the style, the food and everything. At night the garden looks so pretty because they turn on little lights all over the place. It has a spa at the end of the hotel, but I never went there as I was really busy with the wedding preparation! My friends said the spa is pretty and the rooms around the spa are very romantic and private.

  • Liked — The style of the hotel.
  • Disliked — The service in the restaurant is a bit slow.
