I returned to La Nuestra and Cuernavaca for Dia de los Muertos. There are so many festivities and local color in the city, and so much peace and warmth here at La Nuestra. Once again, Andie and Nancy welcomed me as family. I stayed in my same lovely room, with beautiful pink flowers and palms outside the floor to ceiling windows. Lots of towels, bottled water, free wifi for my lap top, and the sounds of birds. A delicious breakfast of baked eggs, fresh papaya, breads, juice, coffee, and the warm conversation of guests around the table. A refreshing early swim in the pool. You can get to the Zocolo in 10 minutes by taxi or the bus that meets you right up the street. The new gallerias are two minutes away. I am here for 5 days....

We stayed four nights at La Nuestra and we couldn't have enjoyed it more. It's not in the center of town, and, at first, we were worried that this might be a problem, but taxi fare is only $3 bucks one way and for the peace, quiet and amenities, we were delighted we chose it.

The owners, Andie and Nancy, are cosmopolitan, charming and unobtrusive. The breakfast was fabulous. The pool was a delight and we met some other guests who were staying there -- a cool and international crowd. People we will stay in touch with.

This is not a place for cliche, American tourists who need an all-inclusive, a Club Med or hand-holding tour guides. Andie and Nancy are very knowledgeable about Cuernavaca and Mexico and are native English speakers, but this is a place for unique and bohemian people who want the real savor of Mexico. All in a fantastic setting!

La Nuestra is a terrific place to stay if you want to see Cuernavaca or if you just want to hang out in a hammock and swim. It's cozy and private. The owners are very service oriented and pay attention to details, but allow for plenty of privacy if that's what you're after. Rooms are quite spacious, too!

I stayed at La Nuestra for my birthday weekend. The owners, Nancy and Andie, were so thoughtful they even left flowers for us in our room.

The breakfast was wonderful and the central courtyard with pool were relaxing and beautiful. There is free wifi in the courtyard and an outdoor kitchen area that you are free to cook on if you want.

If you want to stay somewhere with personality I recommend La Nuestra. It's a Bed & Breakfast with delightful owners who are happy to give advice and ensure your trip to enjoyable.!
