The Tides has a lot going for it. A beautiful, almost surreal beachfront setting greets you at this wonderful resort. The rooms are well appointed and geared towards the guests comfort. I was surprised at the quality of the food that was served. The authentic, local food was absolutely delicious, but I was surprised how good everything else was, including items like their house made sirloin burger. The thing that will lead me to return is absolutely the service of the staff. It almost seems as if there is a never ending army of staff to see to your every need. They are there to meet whatever you might require, often before I realized it myself. The Beach is fabulous and the sunsets are the best I have ever seen. I will be back next year, that I can guarantee.

The Tides works very hard to make everything easy for their guests. The hotel is very pleasing to the eye. The sevice is first rate & very well trained. The breakfasts are wonderful. The beach & pools are a delight. All & all a great place for a vocation.

How can you improve upon perfection? We have selected the Tides for three years for a Corporate Award Trip for approx. 40 people. Each year has been better than the last! It is getting hard to find alternative resorts for these reward trips becaust the Tides is so perfect

Amazing food, service, accommodations. flawless weather................. on and on! Angelica (Group Sales) is amazing. The staff is always three steps ahead of you in seeing to the last detail!

My wife and I discovered The Tides 6 years ago and have been going every year since we found it. It has better climate than Hawaii, 87 degrees every day without a cloud in the sky. Sunsets that are more beautiful than Fiji. The best part is that it is 2 and a half hours from Dallas.
We have stayed in the Lagoon, Beach, and Tides suites and they all are remarkable. Our personal favorite is the Lagoon for the price and we are never in our rooms anyway.
The service is great. Most of the staff have been there ever since we started going. They answer you with it is my pleasure every time you thank them for service.
We have traveled the world, but if I had one last trip to make it would be at The Tides.
We are already planning our trip for December. We want to take our daughter and son-in-law and introduce them to our Paradisio.
