“This places bites!”

My family and I stayed at this hotel the second week of August 2006. We arrived at 10pm and the receptionist refused to send up someone to install a crib for my 8 month old nephew. He was forced to sleep in an adult bed on our first night there. Secondly, the AC in my room had a leak. They fixed it but I was up until 1am waiting for them to come. My room smelled of humidity the entire time there. The staff was extremely rude and never helpful. THe restaurant has the dirtiest dishes I have ever seen. Twice I had to go get a new cup cause of lipstick marks on the supposedly washed cup. When we finally talked to the manager, all he tried to do was sell us a VIP package. This hotel is part of a Best Western chain and when I emailed the corporate headquarters with my complaint, they basically called us liars and acted as if my complaints were not valid. Seriously, save yourself the trouble and money and go somewhere else. Plus, the reception area has no AC and it is ridiculously hot in the restaurant.

“An OK experience”

If you're going for the food, I must say I didn't have a bad meal there. A little spicey at times, but the same goes for all the food we had elsewhere, except of course the delicious, fresh, sweet as sugar fruit. The room was ok. I liked the firm mattress, my wife didn't. There was a constant musty, basement smell in the room, that someone with allergies might not like. The wait service in the restaurant's was top notch. The pool was nice, but not the cleanest looking. The hotel beach area was a little dirty, a lot of people feel it's ok to leave trash in the sand. For the price, I would recommend this hotel. It included bottled water-VERY IMPORTANT!!!

“Good for Spring Brak..Nothing else”

We enjoyed the aspect of spring break, because it was a place to pass out. The toilet overflowed, the shower curtain fell, and the ceiling in the hallway fell down! It wasn't the best hotel, but it made for some awesome stories!

“Great Spring Break Hotel!”

Ok, first, If you check the forums, I've said the same thing, but a small note.

These are NOT Las Vegas, Chicago, or NY, or Paris Hotels. They are not gonna be extravagently decorated and every nook and crannie spotless. Be realistic and get over it.

As far as the Playa goes, I LOVED THIS HOTEL. It is a great hotel for spring breakers especially. The elevators are fast and everything there is accessible. The omelet bar in the morning was sweet and the food was good most of the time, they always had something different to eat.

The pool bar and the bartenders were awesome as well and definately make the drinks strong if you ask nicely enough. The hotel staff takes strong advances towards making the hotel safe.

I stayed in a Penthouse suite on the 18th floor and it was awesome. All the rooms have a sunken in living room area and a balcony that faces the ocean. Our room had 2 floors and had another balcony, 2 beds, and bathroom on the second floor.

There were games during the day and if you didnt do that, the beach area is HUGE and a good time as well.
My friends and I would definately stay here again and we are hoping to do so in the future.
